Carlos Efren Reyes Rosado, better known as Farruko, is a singer-songwriter born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, considered by experts as the musical phenomenon of the moment for his musical versatility and excellence on stage. Farruko has consistently demonstrated his dominance in most subgenres of urban music such as Reggaeton, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Trap Latino. Also, the artist has demonstrated his versatility, also merging his music with other genres such as pop, bachata, mambo and vallenato.

Farruko has released several albums with which he delighted his fans, including The Talenting of the Block, “TMPR” (THE MOST POWERFUL ROOKIE) , “Imperio Nazza” – Farruko Edition, The Minors, Visionary, TrapXficator, and his most recent, Gangalee.

Time and again, Farruko has conquered the industry with its numerous international successes such as: “Good Kicks,” Passsion Whine ft. Sean Paul, Sunset, ft. Shaggy and Nicki Jam, Obsessed, Chillax ft. Ky-Mani Marley, Unforgettable, nobody, Krippy Kush, ft. Bad Bunny, and Calm ft. Pedro Capó.

Most notably, Farruko became the winner of a Latin GRAMMY for his single, 6 AM, along with J Balvin, in the category of Best Urban Song. Since then, the singer-songwriter has accumulated nominations for outstanding ceremonies such as Youth Awards, Lo Nuestro Premio and Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Throughout his career, Farruko has conquered the lists of Billboard magazine such as “Top Latin Albums,” “Top Latin Songs,” Latin Airplay, Latin Rhythm Airplay and “Latin Pop Airplay,” dominating the main positions of these for several weeks. Among his many achievements, the artist has also obtained several gold, platinum and diamond albums certified by RIAA, demonstrating his high artistic caliber.

Being more than a master in the studio, Farruko has given life to his musical vision with countless performances and shows around the U.S. The U.S., Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, with great tours including: Los Menores Bus Tour, Visionary World Tour, Pitbulls The Bad Man Tour (as a special guest with Prince Royce), TrapXficante U.S. Tour and its 2018 World Tour.

Spreading his musical vision around the world, in 2017, the artist paralyzed his native land of Puerto Rico with an unforgettable and completely exhausted show at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, marking his epic return to the island and making history as one of the best concerts in the most important concert hall in the Caribbean. Farruko returned the following year for a new show that doubled the success of the first.

Farruko is truly an experienced artist, dominating stages in different arenas around the world, as well as during awards ceremonies, from the Latin American Music Awards to Lo Nuestro Premio and Your Urban Music Awards. During the Latin GRAMMY in 2015, Farruko joined the electronic music group Major Lazer, her colleague J Balvin and the Danish singer, M., to delight her fans with an explosive presentation of her massive success Lean On Remix. In September 2018, Farruko was invited by the company Macys to serve as Puerto Rico’s ambassador for the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in Times Square. Later that year, Farruko joined Bad Bunny on the stages of Puerto Rico and Miami, singing his hit “Krippy Kush” in front of thousands of people.

In October 2018, Farruko joined Pedro Capo in a remix of his single, Calma, which was an instant success worldwide. The single remained number 1 on YouTube’s global Top & Top Video video charts for four weeks and reached the top spot in the United States, Latin America and Europe. Due to the success of the single, the following year he collaborated with the award-winning artist Alicia Keys to present an explosive remix of the song. The international success of the single was also evident with platinum certifications in Mexico, the United States, Central America, Colombia and Chile.

Farruko began to dominate 2019 when he collaborated with British DJ and producer Alan Walker and singer Sabrina Carpenter to release a single called “On My Way,” which reached the Top 10 of the list “Hot Dance/Electronic Songs” of Billboard magazine. Later, he released his eighth album entitled “Gangalee” at a press conference in front of many media outlets, revolutionizing his musical career and Latin urban printing press. Gangalee is a special album that highlights the artist’s urban roots, mixing Dance Hall with Reggaeton. The 22 songs on the album include special collaborations with artists such as Anuel AA, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Manuel Turizo, Pedro Capo, Zion and Lennox, and many more. The album reached number 2 on the list of “Latin Rhythm Album” and Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. Gangalee is also certified x4 Multi-Platino by the RIAA.

In addition, the artist received special recognition during the ceremony of the Heat Awards due to his historical musical career, in honor of the title of Innovative Artist. Throughout this recognition, Farruko shared the stage with Omega, Myke Towers and Chimbala in a stellar performance.

Farruko not only continued to dominate the charts with his recent album, but also collaborated with Jason Derulo and released the single “Mamacita,” occupying the position 1 on Billboard’s digital sales list.

Farruko was one of the nominees and main artists during the 2019 Youth Awards. At the award ceremony, the artist used his presentation as a platform to send a message of resistance to his native Puerto Rico, which was in the midst of a political crisis, through his song “Delinquent” alongside Anuel AA.

Farruko continued to expand his career with outstanding concerts around the world, including a show completely sold at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico, presenting his latest album “Gangalee.” In Europe, Farruko successfully completed his tour, sailing through more than 18 different cities in countries such as Belgium, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Later, Farruko made his tour of the US. The U.S. and Mexico completing 15 dazzling shows in cities such as Austin, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Monterrey, San Francisco, Washington and more.

With the desire to show his musical career, Farruko collaborated with HBO and released a documentary that highlights his career, entitled “Farruko: En Letra de Oro,” with a special premiere at the Latin Film Festival in New York. Along with this documentary, Farruko released a new album with the same title that contains covers of historical songs that inspired his musical career as I return to Frankie Ruiz’s Nacer, “That There is Malo” by Jerry Rivera, You Let’s Loose The Hair. by Yandel, and many more.
